The purpose of this award is to enable the learner to acquire the knowledge, skill and competence to identify training and development needs and to deliver and evaluate a training intervention within a range of training and development contexts.

This QQI Level 6 programme module 1:

Training Needs Identification and Design 6N3325 (15 credits).

Duration:

This module will be delivered at Dunhill Multi-Education Centre over 4 Fridays during May and June 2022.

Start Date: Friday 27th May 2022 and delivery on Friday’s 3rd, 10th, and 17th June 2022.

Final Submission Date: Friday 24th June 2022.

Time: 09:00 to 17:00.

Cost: €450.00 Including Course Textbook, “Professional Practice in Training and Development, An Essential Guide”.

Possibility of funding.

This module is one of two parts of the Special Purpose Certificate, Training & Development, code 6S3372 (30 credits). The second module Training Delivery and Evaluation code 6N3326 (15 credits) will be delivered on a date yet to be confirmed. Cost for both modules: €800 including textbook.

Saturday Supervised Study for Junior and Leaving Cert students

We are delighted to once again invite all Junior Cert and Leaving Cert students to join us for Saturday Supervised Study. Our centre offers a warm, safe, and quiet environment for those looking to catch up on their revision before the Christmas Holidays!

Students are welcome to join us for a full day from 9am to 3.30pm, or a half-day session if this suits better.

Due to Covid restrictions, we ask that all bookings be made and paid for in advance as minimum numbers will apply. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate walk-ins at this time and apologise for the inconvenience.

Tourism Trails course COVID19 update

In light of the restrictions announced to contain COVID19 spread, the Tourism Trails with Smart Media course at Dunhill Multi-Education Centre will be proceeding with a planned starting date of the 2nd of November with all activities being held online.

Irish Heritage Module starting March 2022

The Tourism Trails Programme is proud to announce the Irish Heritage module will be starting late March.

This module leads to a QQI Level 5 component award and fees are funded by WWETB. Delivery of this module is for approximately 12 weeks, one day a week and all are welcome to enrol.

This module is enables learners to appreciate, research, interpret and promote an understanding Heritage, and is of particular interest to those seeking to develop a Heritage-centric tourism offering.

Tourism Trails with Smart Media 2021/2022

Register now for the 2021/2022 edition of the Tourism Trails with Smart Media, starting late October. With the easing of restrictions, the course will once again take it's focus on the Trails component while being fully compliant with all Health and Safety recommendations. The course now adds content relevant to the post-COVID tourism panorama equipping learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to tackle the new challenges. Register now, call us on 051 396934. Dunhill launch a new blended learning offering for their popular heritage tourism course with smart media

Dunhill Multi-Education Centre, in conjunction with Waterford Wexford ETB are offering free training in Tourism Trails with Smart Media.  The yearlong course provides training to meet the demands of the tourism and heritage businesses that support the Waterford/Wexford trails network.  This year the course, although delivered “live” in the training centre in Dunhill, County Waterford, will facilitate learners working from home with streamed training sessions should learners be required to stay at home due to Covid 19 restrictions.
