Preparation for ECDL - Mornings: Starts March 1st Monday and Thursday @ 10am to 1pm for 5 weeks

Course Description

This course has been designed in order to introduce participants with the skills and related knowledge in the basic functions of a personal computer and in a range of software applications.

    ECDL - Mornings: Starts April 12th Monday and Thursday 10am to 1pm Running  for 10 Weeks

    Course Description

    To provide the course participants with the skills and related knowledge in the basic functions of a personal computer and in a range of software applications. Topics Covered in this Module: Introduction to Information Technology, File Management, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Database Systems, Presentation Software and Internet & E-mailing systems

    Target Trainee Profile
    Age Requirements Applicants must have reached the current statutory school leaving age.(16 Years)
    Educational Qualifications Applicant should have knowledge of computers with good keyboard and mouse skills or have successfully completed a FETAC Level 3 computer skills course.
    Aptitude Accurate with numbers in counting, measuring and arithmetic.
    Personal Skills Good numerical and literacy skills are essential. Good verbal and written command of the English language is required.
    Previous Experience Course participants must have completed the Introduction to Computers (pre ECDL) course or an equivalent course or have basic computer skills.
