This course is hosted local photographer Ivan Power, the course is designed for people who already have a digital SLR Camera and need help to use it to its full potential.
Ivan makes his tutorials uncomplicated and explains all the photographic terminology in plain English. At the end of the course you will feel at ease using your SLR camera and being able to edit all your favourite photographs.
The software used in this course is Corel Paint Shop Pro X12

- Photography Techniques and tips on Digital Photography
- Flash and Macro Photography, Self-Timer and Manual Settings
· Proper use of Shutter Speeds, ISO Settings
· Metering, Exposure & Compensation
· Using Filters, Cable Release & Remote Control
· Using your lenses effectively
· Composition
- Editing Photos (enhancement, touch-up, etc)
- Layers and Masks
- Cloning, Colour Change, Sharpening, Cropping, Red Eye Removal, etc.
- Resizing for email, web, printing and copying
