Lectures are held in the Dunhill Multi Education Centre every Thursday at 7pm and are followed by a question-and-answer session light refreshments.

We are delighted to once again invite all Junior Cert and Leaving Cert students to join us for Saturday Supervised Study. Our centre offers a warm, safe, and quiet environment for those looking to catch up on their revision before the Christmas Holidays!
Students are welcome to join us for a full day from 9am to 3.30pm, or a half-day session if this suits better.
Due to Covid restrictions, we ask that all bookings be made and paid for in advance as minimum numbers will apply. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate walk-ins at this time and apologise for the inconvenience.

We are pleased to announce we are taking bookings for our new Regional Tour Guide Programme commencing on February 24th, 2020.
This QQI Level 6 30 credit Special Purpose Award (6S20233) will entail a 7 week full time intensive course held in Dunhill Multi-Education Centre.
The Regional Tour Guide programme at Dunhill MEC will provide participants with the skills, knowledge and competencies to deliver and manage a wide-ranging tourist guiding service for international and domestic tourists travelling in Ireland.

Special Purpose Award Training and Development 6S3372
The purpose of this award is to enable the learner to acquire the knowledge, skill and competence to identify training and development needs and to deliver and evaluate a training intervention within a range of training and development contexts.
This QQI Level 6 programme comprises of two modules:
Training Needs Identification and Design 6N3325 (15 credits).
Training Delivery and Evaluation code 6N3326 (15 credits).
Resulting in the achievement of a Special Purpose Certificate, Training & Development, code 6S3372 (30 credits).
Duration:
The two modules will be delivered over 9 Fridays during November 2021 and January and February 2022.
Start Date: Friday 5th November 2021.
Cost: €350.00 per module. €700.00 in total.

Register now for the 2021/2022 edition of the Tourism Trails with Smart Media, starting late October. With the easing of restrictions, the course will once again take it's focus on the Trails component while being fully compliant with all Health and Safety recommendations. The course now adds content relevant to the post-COVID tourism panorama equipping learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to tackle the new challenges. Register now, call us on 051 396934. Dunhill Multi-Education Centre, in conjunction with Waterford Wexford ETB are offering free training in Tourism Trails with Smart Media. The yearlong course provides training to meet the demands of the tourism and heritage businesses that support the Waterford/Wexford trails network. This year the course, although delivered “live” in the training centre in Dunhill, County Waterford, will facilitate learners working from home with streamed training sessions should learners be required to stay at home due to Covid 19 restrictions.
